The British company Anglo Asian Mining Plc, engaged in the extraction of precious metals in Azerbaijan, will develop gold-bearing deposits in the territories of the country liberated from occupation.
Representatives of the company have already visited the field in Zangilan. The company plans to start developing it immediately after access to these territories is opened, Sputnik Azerbaijan reports.
At the same time, all agreements on deposits in Nagorno-Karabakh, which were signed in 1997, will be reset. Under the new agreements, the company will develop contract areas for five years and engage in mining for 15 years.
Also, the British company will have the opportunity to extend the contract for the extraction of precious metals twice for a period of five years.
